One of my favorite things to do is right before I go to bed, I confess and repent of all my sins I did that day. Then I ask the Holy Spirit to reveal sins I didn’t even realized I committed and repent of those. By the time I’m done I kinda feel overwhelmed with all the mess I’ve made. Then my heart and mind begins to be renewed by the Father, and I realize that I’m covered in His grace! And by the next day when I wake up, not only are my sins forgotten, but His mercy is new for me. It’s comforting to see your sins and then see your Savior. It’s such a wonderful feeling to end the day; resting in the new mercy of a good Father. I recommend laying down in bed and talk to God about your struggles. He’s your Dad. He wants to take care of you. And it’s not like He can’t see you in your sins. Talk to Him. You’ll start to realize that He is merciful and wants what’s best for you. Repentance shouldn’t be a scary thing, but a freeing hug from your gracious Father. He loves you, no matter what.
